Model of vibrations for the geartrain of a Wind Turbine

I am looking for a simulation model of a geartrain that can get vibrations of the elements of that geartrain (HSS, LSS, bearings...) as outputs, when you enter input data such as the speed of the shaft and the condition of each element (faults), among others. Is it possible to solve this problem with FAST software or any other?

Dear David,

The drivetrain model in FAST is quite simplified with only a generator rotation and drivetrain-torsion degrees of freedom (DOFs). Assuming you need more DOFs than this, I would look into more detailed models of the drivetrain available in commercial software. SIMPACK and SAMCEF come to mind, but there are likely others.
