Question regarding TURBSIM coherent turbulence and .wnd files

Postby George.Elderfield » Mon Aug 12, 2019 6:26 am

I understand that if using the GPLLJ model the coherent turbulence is calculated separately and superimposed onto the background .wnd / .bts file in Aerodyn.
My question is whether is is possible to add the two files to superimpose the coherent turbulence onto the background turbulence and then create a .wnd file that can be used in Bladed?

Many Thanks

Dear George,

A similar question was asked and answered with a tool named "CTWind", discussed in the following forum topic: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=437&p=6443.
