laminar flow separation bubble on low Re Airfoils

Postby Suni.Kar » Sun Aug 12, 2012 12:05 pm

Dear Marshall,
Low Re airfoils laminar flow separation bubble produces at the trailing edge or away near the trailing edge. if the turbulence produce at the middle of the airfoil , what will the effect of lift and drag values? In which flow region (laminar, turbulence) pressure values are very low.

Dear Suni,

I am not actually a Real Aerodynamicist™. Although I dabble in it, I've had little training in aerodynamics and cannot answer such difficult questions. I'll see if I can find someone who can answer your question.
