Input for airfoilprep excel sheet

Postby Danielle.Everett » Fri Mar 05, 2021 5:03 am

Hi, I am working on a student project and hoped to use the SWRDC CODE which uses the airfoilprep excel sheet for lift and drag data. I am struggling to understand the input I need and what the x and y values are in the "interpolate" sheet. I just want the lift and drag data for a naca 6409.

Dear Danielle,

The X and Y values in the Interpolate worksheet of AirfoilPrep are typically the angle of attack (X) and lift coefficient or drag coefficient (Y). But this Worksheet is only need if you need to switch from one set of angles of attack to another.
