Where to find data

Current met tower data can be accessed through https://nwtc.nrel.gov/MetData.

Archives of raw and 10-minute data are available as well:

Attribution: we would be very grateful if you would include an acknowledgement to NREL for all uses of this data - presentations, posters, publications, student exercises, etc.

Help me keep the towers operating: if you use the 135-m data for a publication, class, or project, I'd love to know so I can include it in my reporting (which helps generate funding to keep the towers operating). Please contact me directly with the following information:

  • Your name, affiliation, and country.
  • What the project is.
