Dear Jason,

I am doing a structural analysis on wind turbine blades and I need some information regarding the blade dimensions. I was wondering what is the value for sectional moment of area at the root of wind turbine blade for an NREL 5MW. Also, having the outer and inner radius can help(Cylinder1 section for wind turbine blade). Is there any data that can help me to figure out these values?

These details where not part of the original specification of the NREL 5-MW baseline wind turbine. However, the blade properties of the NREL 5-MW baseline turbine have been reverse-engineered in order to establish cross sectional details such as geometries and materials, as well as a full 3D FEA model, e.g., as discussed in the following forum topic: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=379&p=1857.
