Modifying pBEAM Boundary Conditions

Greetings all,

I'm doing structural analysis for Vertical Axis Wind Turbine, and I decided to use pBEAM as a start. pBEAM boundary condition restrict you to have free end at the tip and arbitrary stiffness at the root.
I'm wondering if pBEAM can be modified to allow different boundary condition at the tip (for instance fixed tip).
also is it possible to choose arbitrary node along the length of the blade and give that node displacement boundary condition (zero displacement in all DOF for that node as an example) ?
these modification allows me to model VAWT geometry and configuration which is different than the usual HAWT
