Sorry for not being more explicit. The reason I believe that I need to recompile the SFunction is that I made changes to five of the source files: AeroMods, FAST_IO, GenSubs, ModCVF, and SysCVF. The file extension has seemed not to be an issue because I have tried both .dll and .mexw32 and while I c...

BladedA.DLL

Thanks for the fast response. Yes the goal was to compile an SFunction as a DLL incorporating changes to multiple code sections because we changed the way the pitch controller works inside simulink. I just wanted to make sure the file name was different from the SFunction.dll that was provided as pa...

Compiling SFunction

We are trying to compile a SFunction for use in the 2007a edition of Matlab. First, we had to change the path in the FAST_mexopts.bat to libraries that existed on our local machine. We changed it to... set LIBLOC=%MATLAB%\extern\lib\win32\microsoft Then, when selecting the compiler Compaq Visual For...

Thanks for the fast response and advice. While I do not have the greatest prowess with Fortran I will look into trying to create a working Sys and DFPORT workaround.

Thanks for the fast reply, I will look into making changes to the code if necessary. As it stands I believe I have tracked the problem to two specific files that the NWTC_Library needs to compile the code. These specific files are: syssubs.mod and DFPORT. I believe both of these are Visual Fortran f...

Mex on mac osx

Jason, Thanks for the help from the previous post, working now on a windows machine. I was wondering if it was possible to get the make_SFunction or the .mex file from the above link work on another operating system. At this point I get back to the same error as above when trying to run FAST through...

Working Problems

Jason, I am sorry it has taken me months to get back to you about the error. Now that I have a working computer and working errors I have enough information to ask for help. For some background: I have the path for the two .dll's added to the pathway of the matlab file and I am working with Test13.f...

Re: RE: FAST-Simulink tranform

Jason, Thanks for the FAST response, pardon the horrible pun. In response to your question I am using matlab v. 7.4, which does translate to 2007a so the new mex files do work. My problem is even more simplistic in that I cannot get a test file, such as test 13, to be configured correctly to run ins...

FAST-Simulink tranform

I am a UC Davis student who is introducing myself to the functionality of the FAST system. I want to be able to run the FAST model inside of Simulink running either Matlab 7.14 or 2007a, and am continually finding compatibility issues even after following the prescribed changes as provided by the NR...
