Re: Parameter access in user subroutines

Dear Jason, thank you very much for your help. I think I have successfully implemented my user subroutine. Now I have a follow-up question regarding the necessary DOF settings. The v7 user guide states that the UserYawCont() subroutine can be used either with the YawDOF enabled or disabled. When the...

Re: Parameter access in user subroutines

Dear Jason,

for my current problem I need to know the rotor speed in the UserYawCont() as I want to yaw the turbine out of the wind when a certain rotational speed is reached.

Best regards,

Matthias

Parameter access in user subroutines

Hello, I have a question regarding the parameter access in user subroutines like UserVSCont or UserYawCont. The user guide states that it is possible to access the current value of any output parameter from FAST but I don't know how. Is there a specific module which has to be loaded or can I just us...

Re: RunIEC accessibility

Hello, as some years have past since the last one asked for the RunIEC script, I wanted to ask if any progress has been made and maybe some alpha version is available now? Alternatively, would it be possible to get the old RunIEC or RunNTM to have a starting point for the own script so I don't have ...

Azimuth output

Dear all, I have set up a simple OpenFAST simulation and got some strange output of the azimuthal angle. I wanted to simulate a small wind turbine at a fixed rotational speed and I set: - The total simulation time (TMax) equal to 10 rotor revolutions, - The time step size (DT) equal to 0.1 degree, -...
