Re: Problem in Running fx_mbc3 and fx_getMats

Dear Bonnie, Thank you for your replying. I checked the matlab-toolbox again and I found the old version ReadFASTlinear is used. It runs now and out put the Excel file. However, 1) fx_mbc3 runs wiht a WARNING: Number of blades is 0, not 3. MBC transformation was not performed. How to deal with it? 2...

Re: Problem in Running fx_mbc3 and fx_getMats

Dear Jason,
I used the newest master of MBC3 from the MATLAB Toolbox just as the same address as you shown, and encountered that problem. I would like to send you my .lin file, and could you help me to find what's wrong with my linearization file?

problem in runing linearization with aerodyn

Dear all, I am trying to use OpenFast to linearize with the ElastoDyn, AeroDyn enable. However I encountered the following error: OpenFAST-v2.0.0-dirty Compile Info: - Architecture: 32 bit - Precision: single - Date: Dec 05 2018 - Time: 14:55:05 Execution Info: - Date: 07/11/2019 - Time: 15:17:55+08...

Problem in Running fx_mbc3 and fx_getMats

Dear All, Can anyone help me please with the following. I am tring to use the MBC matlab-toolbox to process the openfast linearization file. But when I run "fx_getMats" in MATLAB it gives error as follows, >> FileNames={'3.1.lin'}; >> [MBC, matData, FAST_linData] = fx_mbc3( FileNames ) Run...

Re: difference of tower moment between Bladed and Fast

Dear, Jason Thanks for your reply. I simulated the turbin with disable the aerodynamics and fixed rotor speed in both Bladed and Fast as your suggested, and found that the result still was queit diffrent. The offset and amplitude of fore-aft deflection calculated by Fast both larger than the Bladed ...

difference of tower momnet between Bladed and Fast

Dear jonkman, I just translated an onshore wind turbine Bladed model to OpenFast model and compared the simulation results between the two models. I found that the moments My and Mz in tower top and base have great difference, especially the Mz value. I builded the Fast model with the exact same par...
