### GEBT-LSFE approach

Hello everyone, I've been trying to understand theory behind BeamDyn, I find myself a bit confused after reading about GEBT and LSFE, which lead me to ask these questions. 1- Is the difference between GEBT and Euler-bernoulli beam theory is that GEBT uses 6*6 mass and stiffness matrices? 2- How is L...

### Re: BeamDyn Sectional Motions

Thank you dr. Jonkman for quick response, It is working now.
I understand that section 1-9 and tip are available as outputs. Is there a way to get results for rest of the sections? for example NREL 5WM-Baseline has 49 sections, can BeamDyn calculate behavior of 10-48 sections?

### BeamDyn Sectional Motions

Dear all, I have been trying to get Sectional Motions (e.g. N2TDxr) from BeamDyn, FAST runs without a problem but, as outputs TDxrs are "INVALID" and are all equal to zero. I dont understand if I am providing fast with Invalid inputs or BeamDyn is not successfully calculating those motions...

### BeamDyn Input

Dear all, I've got outputs from Numad + Precomp and trying to create my own BeamDyn input file to use in FAST. Majority of needed data are obtained from Numad's output but there are some missing pieces and confusion. questions: 1_how can I obtain edge and flap shear stiffnesses? Page 15* in BeamDyn ...
